Stable milling processes with greater efficiency and cleanliness
Wrought aluminum alloys stick and smear during the machining process and are therefore prone to built-up edges and burrs. This should be avoided by supplying plenty of cooling lubricants, with all the associated disadvantages (reworking, cleaning, etc.).
Complete dry machining of aluminum is possible at moderate temperatures with a significant reduction in cutting force and high efficiency in absolutely stable milling processes. Massive savings in energy costs can also be achieved by reducing CO2 consumption by up to 80 percent, which can also be subsidized by the state.
