Dry machining of aluminium profiles
11. May @ 09:00 - 13:00

Tabile milling processes with more efficiency and cleanliness
Workshop / 11 May 2023, 09:00 h to 13:00 h
Wrought aluminium alloys stick and smear in the machining process and are therefore prone to built-up edges and burrs. This is to be avoided by supplying ample cooling lubricants, with all the disadvantages this entails (reworking, cleaning, etc.).
Complete dry machining of aluminium is possible at moderate temperatures with a significant reduction in cutting force and high efficiency in absolutely stable milling processes. Massive savings in energy costs can also be achieved through a reduction in CO2 consumption of up to 80 percent, which can also be subsidised by the state.
